This website uses no cookies, no analytics and collects no personal data. Below is a clear summary of what that means in practice.
For typography, the site loads the Inter font from
Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com /
fonts.gstatic.com). Google Fonts does not
set cookies on the visitor's browser. Like any HTTP
request, font requests transmit your IP address to
Google's servers; that connection is the legal basis
Google uses to serve the file and is not used by us
for tracking. If you would prefer self-hosted fonts,
let us know via the contact form.
The site also links out to documentation pages,
download files and licensing pages on
deluminaelab.com. Those pages have their
own policies and may behave differently.
The videos page does not
embed the YouTube player. It shows the official
YouTube thumbnail images (served from
i.ytimg.com, Google's static image CDN,
which does not set cookies for plain image
requests) and links each thumbnail to the
corresponding video on
youtube.com.
Clicking a thumbnail opens YouTube in a new tab — once you are on YouTube, Google's privacy policy and YouTube's cookies apply, just as if you had typed the YouTube URL directly. Browsing this site without clicking any thumbnail keeps you fully cookie-free.
Our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived technical access logs (IP address, timestamp, URL requested, user agent, referrer) for the sole purpose of operating the server, debugging and protecting against abuse. These logs are not used for analytics, profiling or marketing, and are not shared with third parties. They are rotated automatically.
If you write to us through the contact page or by email, we receive the information you choose to send (typically your name, email address and message content). We use it solely to reply to your enquiry. We do not add you to any newsletter, do not sell or share this information with third parties, and we delete it once the exchange is no longer needed.
Buying a DL-Light or DL-Instant licence is handled on the De Luminæ corporate site. Any personal data you provide there (billing details, licence email, etc.) is processed by De Luminæ as the data controller for the strict purpose of issuing and supporting your licence. The DL-Light SketchUp extension itself does not transmit personal data from your computer back to us; see the documentation for details on local file usage.
Because this marketing website does not collect personal data, there is generally nothing to access, rectify or erase. If you have contacted us by email or through the contact form, you may at any time request access to, correction of, or deletion of the messages you have sent us, or object to their further processing, by writing to the contact email listed on the contact page. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.
De Luminæ — see the company page for the legal entity, registered address and contact details. Privacy questions can be sent through the contact page.
If our practices ever change — for example if we decide to introduce privacy-friendly analytics — we will update this page first and clearly state the date and the nature of the change. Re-introducing cookies or third-party trackers is not currently planned.
